Pack 9 News

Attention Den Leaders!

We need input (short articles) and pictures about den activities if you want this page to tell the story of what is really going one in the pack and all the fun things you do.

Pack Graduates Seven Second Year Webelos in March!

Pack 9 is proud to announce the we graduated seven 2nd  Webelos in March.  Six of the graduates decide to move up to Boy Scouts and have joined Troop 9.  Although it is always sad to see boys that have been with the pack for many years leave, we wish them a happy farewell and hope the the things they learned in Cub Scouts will help guide them through their life.

We wish the best of luck to those boys who joined the Troop and hope that someday we will see them back at the Pack as Den Chief.

May every one of them set their goals high and work to attain the highest honor of all, Eagle Scout.

NOVA

The NOVA program is a brand new program for Scouts at all levels that is beginning this year.  It is based on developing an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).  We will be working with our Den Leaders to integrate NOVA into to their  Den Programs this year. Click on the link below to see the NOVA flyer.

Hey, did you know you can get to all the requirements for the Sports and Academic Belt Loops and Pins from this Web site?  Just click on the "Cub Scouting 101" button to the left.  Scroll down the page to "Cub Scout Academics and Sports Program" and click on either of the symbols there.

When you click on  the "Sports and Academics" link it will take you a page that lists all the belt loops and pins.  Click on the one you are interested in and it will open a page with all the requirements and worksheets to use while working on the belt loop and/or pin.  Just completer the paperwork and turn it into your Den Leader.
