The Wolf Cub Scout Program
The Wolf Cub Scout program is for
boys who have completed first grade
(or are age 8). After earning the
Bobcat badge, a boy may earn the
Wolf badge by completing 12
achievements involving simple
physical and mental skills.
| Wolf Cub Scouts can complete Wolf Electives at any time, but may not be awarded Arrow Points until after they have earned their Wolf Badge. An Arrow point is earned for every ten electives completed. The first Arrow Point is gold and all additional arrow points are silver. |
|
The Wolf Cub Scout Program is similar to the Tiger in that it is conducted in a den environment of 6-8 boys, with a Den Leader planning and running the program for the den. Unlike the Tiger Cub Program, an adult partner is no longer required to be present at all den meetings.
As always, parents are encouraged to work with their Cub Scout at home to complete many of the the Wolf achievements and electives.
